An-Ger-Land

This series explores propaganda using the interplay between idyllic rural scenes, urban decay and military slang.Each image is titled using sometimes vulgar vernacular military phrases to induce a dislocation and explore a plurality of meanings within the viewer. As metaphors they are intended to relate and comment on conflicts and our increasing distance and social apathy to an involvement in them.
